SAN DIEGO —
Robert (Bob) Huffman, 77, San Diego, formerly Logansport, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013.
He was born in Terre Haute. His parents were F.I. (Bud) and Dorothy Huffman. Bob came to Logansport as a young boy. He graduated from Logansport High School in 1953.
After graduation he joined the U.S. Navy. He retired after 25 years with the rank of Chief Petty Officer.
In retirement he owned and ran several businesses in the San Diego area.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lois, two sons, Richard Huffman, Coronado, Calif., Michael (Debbie) Huffman, Coldwell, Idaho.
One daughter, Lisa (Chilly) Dunlap, lives in Valley Center, Calif. He also had five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In Logansport, he is survived by his mother, Dorothy Huffman and a sister, Millie Kniesly.
There will be no funeral services. He was buried in the Fort Rosecans Military Ceremony, Point Loma, Calif. with full military honors.
