LOGANSPORT —
Joy L. Stratton, 66, Logansport, passed away at 12:11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, in her residence.
Born May 24, 1946, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Adam H. and Martha Gene Koons Wade. On Aug. 5, 1967, she was married to Kenneth W. Stratton, who survives.
Joy was retired as matron of the Cass County Jail. She was a 1964 graduate of Logansport High School.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Thomas W. Stratton, Logansport; daughter, Jody K. Stratton, Indianapolis; sister, LaNita (husband, Robert) Llewellyn, North Fort Myers, Fla.; and a cousin, Doranne (husband, Jim) Heimlich, Logansport.
The funeral service will be at noon Friday at Kroeger Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Marshall officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home.
