I’ve come to the belated conclusion that true justice has nothing to do with justice as applied by our legal system.
You can be convicted of an act even though in reality you were miles away; you can be virtually the only person in court telling the unvarnished truth and yet end up being penalized for lying.
I’m saying beware. Irrespective of guilt or innocence; you can lose in court and be found guilty while the truly guilty parties get off Scot-free. A shameful, disappointing system at that!
