PUBLIC FORUM: Thanks for support of annual food drive

We would like to thank everyone at First United Methodist Church, children and families at Little Children’s Ministry and the Logansport community for donating to our annual food drive. During November, our project called “Fill a sack and bring it back” collects non-perishable food items where children are given a sack to fill and return with food donations. We would like to thank Mark and Patricia Hammons for allowing us to use both McDonald’s locations in Logansport as drop-off sites for this successful project. Thank you also to Main Street Market for donating the grocery sacks that were used. These donations were distributed to the Emmaus homeless shelter and to the Lord’s Cupboard at the Salvation Army.

Thank you to all who answered the call for this need to help others in our community.

Nancy Beachler, Christian education coordinator, Little Children’s Ministry
