First of all if anybody doesn’t think I know what I’m talking about I’ve been a union member for over 50 years, so here it is. Our illustrious leaders are at it again. Remember they’re supposed to represent us.
The “right to work” law was legislated in Michigan. Now how does that benefit the working man’s life? Remember when the unions were first started in the 1800s. Why? 12 to 18 hours a day, slave wages, no insurance. That’s what the corporation wants today, and the politicians camouflage this as a job creator. Wrong.
Jobs are coming back to America because shipping cost and labor are becoming more expensive, so now they want to come back to America but first we have to get rid of the unions.
Well our intellectual leaders said we can do that but it’ll cost you. Fund my campaign and you got a deal.
Remember, the Republicans are for the rich and this “right to work” law has been on their agenda for years and now they finally get to count their money. (Merry Christmas.)
I hope you enjoy your wealth by walking on the graves of the brave women and women by taking away the benefits they fought so long for back to the 1800s.
I’m glad I’m not in the work force any more because I would find it very difficult to bow down to corporate workplace policies.
Just one more thing: How many of you are working 10-, 12-hour days, and if you refuse, you’re threatened with disciplinary action or loss of your job, Well, this is where it’s at. Hope someday you’ll get to spend time with your family.
There are many people disillusioned with the direction our leaders are taking us. I remember when displaying religious displays in government buildings was traditional but after 200 years, it’s unconstitutional. What’s with that? Oh, I know our political leaders won’t have to follow any moral values. As long as it’s politically correct, we’re cool. And that’s just the beginning.
