Police blotter, Sept. 15


Friday

9:11 p.m. — Property-damage accident, 1007 17th St. A vehicle owned by Jose M. Sanchez of Walton sustained damage while parked at Knights of Columbus. Logansport Police Department.

Saturday

11:29 p.m. — Criminal mischief. Someone reportedly slashed the tires and scratched graffiti into a vehicle parked at 12th and Market streets. LPD.

Sunday

1:01 a.m. — Arrest. Marcos Madrigal, 22, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. LPD.

1:51 a.m. — Arrest. Benjamin Lee Layer, 19, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of minor consumption. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

2:27 a.m. — Arrest. Amanda Kay Johnson, 18, Royal Center, was arrested on a charge of minor consumption. CCSD.

2:46 a.m. — Arrest. Ryan Andrew Baker, 32, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of battery. LPD.

11:43 a.m. — Arrest. Angel Elberto Trevino, 35, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of failure to appear. LPD.

3:15 p.m. — Personal-injury accident, Market and Front streets. Vehicles driven by Cheree D. Townsend, 22, Logansport, and Madonna L. McDonald, 57, Logansport, collided. Both Townsend and McDonald complained of pain and were transported to Logansport Memorial Hospital for treatment. LPD.

5:10 p.m. — Arrest. Christopher Hugh Snyder, 40, Kokomo, was arrested on a charge of operating while a habitual traffic violator. CCSD.

6:48 p.m. — Criminal mischief. Someone reportedly shot a BB into the windshield of a vehicle parked in the 4000 block of Parkmont Drive. LPD.

8:05 p.m. — Arrest. Terry Lee Sterrett, 57, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of intimidation. CCSD.

9 p.m. — Arrest. Juan Pablo Hernandez, 27, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of failure to appear. CCSD.

9:47 p.m. — Gas burner left on, Riverbend Apartments. Neighbor smelled gas. Firefighters shut off burner and vented apartment. NIPSCO contacted.

Monday

4:16 a.m. — Assist EMS, 2516 Usher St.

5:44 a.m. — Assist EMS, 403 Longtree Lane.
