Police blotter, Feb. 5

Monday

5:43 a.m. — Property-damage accident, Ind. 25 near 775 North. A vehicle driven by Lisa L. Waltz, 45, Rochester, struck a deer. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

Wednesday

3:16 p.m. — Harassment. Someone listed in a no contact order reportedly called a Logansport resident several times. Logansport Police Department.

4:40 p.m. — Property-damage accident, Miami Avenue and Plum Street. Vehicles driven by Shawn M. Heishman, 39, Logansport, and Debra K. Birnell, 54, Logansport, collided. CCSD.

7:06 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly made transactions totaling $382 from the bank account of a Logansport resident. LPD.

7:39 p.m. — Arrest. Cristina Magdalena Contreras-Morones, 30, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of operator never licensed. LPD.

11:30 p.m. — Personal-injury accident, 325 North near 450 East. A vehicle driven by Clint A. Moore, 30, Logansport, struck a group of trees. He complained of head pain. CCSD.

Thursday

12:55 a.m. — Property-damage accident, Delaware Road near 225 West. A vehicle driven by Patrick R. Woodruff, 31, Logansport, slid into a mailbox and got stuck in a fence. Police arrested Woodruff and his passenger, 31-year-old Millicent Ann Wooten of Logansport, on charges of public intoxication after they allegedly told police conflicting stories about who had been driving. CCSD.

2:37 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a purse from the Old Style Inn, 206 S. Sixth St. Police later arrested Marnetta Darlene Antunez, 27, Kokomo, on a charge of theft. LPD.

4:18 a.m. — Arrest. Stephen Nazimek, 34, Goodland, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. CCSD.

1:02 a.m. — Assist at property-damage accident, 2728 W. Delaware Road.

7:20 a.m. — Crossing guard detail at Logansport schools.
