Police blotter

Tuesday

4:25 a.m. — Arrest. Brenda Kay Townsend, 47, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated refusal. Indiana State Police.

9:34 p.m. — Property damage. Someone reportedly struck a vehicle parked in the 1100 block of East Broadway. Logansport Police Department.

12:22 p.m. — Arrest. Christopher David Grant Symons, 25, Logansport, was arrested on charges of failure to appear and an out-of-county warrant. LPD.

12:26 p.m. — Property-damage accident, Broadway and 13th Street. A vehicle driven by Kathy F. Wyatt, 52, Seneca, S.C., reportedly turned in front of a vehicle driven by James D. Shepherd, 51, Galveston. LPD.

2:14 p.m. — Personal-injury accident, Third Street and Melbourne Avenue. Vehicles driven by Penny E. Lewellen, 35, Young America, and Howard I. Cox, 65, Logansport, reportedly collided as Lewellen attempted to turn southbound onto Third Street. Cox, who was driving a motorcycle, was transported to Fort Wayne Parkview Hospital for a possible fractured or dislocated knee, lower leg and foot. LPD.

4:31 p.m. — Arrest. Adam Gene Vancamp, 29, Kokomo, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.



Wednesday

2:31 a.m. — Arrest. Laura Marie Van Lake, 23, Kewanna, was arrested on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct. LPD.

Tuesday

11:08 a.m. — Assist EMS, 5370 E. 150 North 1:30 p.m. — Assist EMS, 616 E. Broadway.

2:17 p.m. — Assist at personal-injury accident, Third Street and Melbourne Avenue.

3:35 p.m. — Assist EMS, 233 W. Miami Ave.

4:18 p.m. — Assist EMS, 705 Wheatland Ave.

8:13 p.m. — Assist EMS, 1003 North St.

10:32 p.m. — Vacant trailer on fire, 2808 S. U.S. 35. Walton Fire Department called in to assist. Trailer total loss. Cause of fire unknown, remains under investigation.

Wednesday

5:25 a.m. — Person stuck in elevator, 520 High St.
