Police blotter, Feb. 10

Monday

10:28 a.m. — Property-damage accident, Eel River Avenue near First Street. A vehicle driven by Jeffery A. Collins, 51, Logansport, jumped the curb, struck and knocked down a light pole and hit a utility pole. Logansport Police Department.

10:36 a.m. — Property-damage accident, Fourth and Market streets. Vehicles driven by Dawn Gillis, 43, Logansport, and Ruth Ann Becker, 72, Kewanna, collided. LPD.

11:32 a.m. — Arrest. Khaley William Hamm, 20, Melbourne, Fla., was arrested on an out-of-county warrant. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

11:53 a.m. — Arrest. Kendra Rachelle Wiggins, 22, Logansport, was arrested on a warrant. CCSD.

12:11 p.m. — Arrest. Douglas Lyle LaPlante, 50, Logansport, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. LPD.

3:45 p.m. — Arrest. Brandon John Hines, 22, Logansport, was arrested on two counts of failure to appear. CCSD.

6 p.m. — Arrest. David Matthew Locke, 34, Burrows, was arrested on three counts of failure to appear. CCSD.

10:57 p.m. — Theft. Two people reportedly refused to pay their $5 cab fare. Police arrested Nicholas Stephen Rivers, 22, Logansport, and Kendra Lynn Welts, 30, Logansport, on charges of theft and public intoxication. Rivers was also arrested on a charge of failure to appear. LPD.

Tuesday

12:32 a.m. — Arrest. Shelby Irene Wiggins, 18, Logansport, was arrested on charges of resisting law enforcement and minor consumption. LPD.

1:35 a.m. — Arrest. Alejandro Balcazar, 32, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of battery with bodily injury. CCSD.

3:26 p.m. — Assist EMS, 1218 High St.

5:07 p.m. — Assist EMS, 2114 Otto St.
