Police blotter

Tuesday

5:46 a.m. — Theft. Someone reported a scooter stolen from the 800 block of Spencer Street. Logansport Police Department.

12:26 p.m. — Property-damage accident, Fourth and Market streets. A vehicle driven by Tlim Tue, 27, Indianapolis, reportedly struck a vehicle driven by Sue Brand, 61, Lafayette, while attempting to change lanes. LPD.

1:10 p.m. — Lost property. Someone reported a license plate lost or stolen from the 100 block of Court Pike. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

6:20 p.m. — Arrest. Christopher Michael Ballard, 21, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of theft. LPD.

8:30 p.m. — Arrest. Jaime Moreno, 28, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of operator never licensed. LPD.



Wednesday

5:13 a.m. — Personal-injury accident, 1408 17th St. A minor reportedly attempting to make a U-turn jumped the vehicle over a curb and struck the wall of the Corner Pub. Passenger Gay Ney Moo, 18, Fort Wayne, was arrested on charges of minor consumption and public intoxication. Moo was treated at the scene for lacerations to the face and head. The driver of the vehicle was charged with minor consumption, public intoxication and operator never licensed. The driver and another passenger were released to their parents. LPD.



Fire reports

Tuesday

8:42 a.m. — Assist at a personal-injury accident, U.S. 35 and Humphrey Street. Put oil-dry on the roadway.

10:45 a.m. — Burnt food in microwave, 2214 Spear St. Set up fan to vent room.

3:13 p.m. — Assist EMS, 699 S. Granite Drive.

3:51 p.m. — Assist EMS, 707 Bringhurst St.

4:07 p.m. — Assist EMS, 615 1/2 Race St.

5:41 a.m. — Recall for oil dry on roadway after accident, 1408 17th St.

    11:23 p.m. — Criminal mischief. A woman reported that she saw one of a group of three males punch out a window on her 1997 Chrysler Town and Country parked in the 400 block of North Street. Police were unable to locate the men. Logansport Police Department.
