Police Blotter, Dec. 7, 2012

Wednesday

9:50 a.m. — Arrest. Louis Shepard, 39, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of residential entry. Logansport Police Department.

1:41 p.m. — Arrest. Anthony Charles Vazquez, 31, Rochester, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

10:48 a.m. — Arrest. Dustin Merl McGuire, 30, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of battery resulting in bodily injury. LPD.

10:50 a.m. — Arrest. Lewis Melvin Shepard, 46, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of residential entry. LPD.

1:08 p.m. — Crash. West Roselawn Avenue and East Market Street. A vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Carol Clemons, 58, Logansport, and then left the scene. There were no injuries. LPD.

2:04 p.m. — Drug Paraphernalia. 905 E. Main St. police located an active meth lab next to a trash bin. LPD.

3:11 p.m. — Crash. 12th Street and Broadway. A vehicle driven by Keith Spencer, 56, Lucerne, collided with a vehicle driven by Shawnee Cook, 45, Logansport. There were no injuries.

4:06 p.m. — Arrest. Michael Edward Kutzner, 52, Louisville, Ky., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear and writ of attachment. LPD.

5:19 p.m. — Arrest. Cory Lee Hughes, 25, Frankfort, was arrested on a warrant for in-home detention. CCSD.

6:04 p.m. — Arrest. Tyrel Kawka McFarland, 31, Logansport, was arrested on charges of possession of a schedule II drug and possession of marijuana. LPD.

8:04 p.m. — Arrest. Angelic Rochelle Faulkner, 32, Logansport, was arrested on charges of maintaining a common nuisance and possession of marijuana. LPD.

10:11 p.m. — Arrest. Eduardo Manuel Arroyo, 28, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of operator never licensed. LPD.

Thursday

7:22 a.m. — Criminal gang activity. 300 block of Wheatland Avenue. A man reported his garage had been spray painted with graffiti. LPD.

10:37 a.m. — Possible gas leak on heater. 922 E. Broadway. Logansport Fire Department.

2:05 p.m. — Possible dumpster fire. 905 E. Main St. LFD.
