Police blotter, Aug. 17

FRIDAY

9:47 a.m. — Fraud. A resident of Donahue Street reported sending a money gram to someone who claimed to be their grandson. Logansport Police Department.

SATURDAY

6:47 p.m. — Criminal recklessness. Someone shot a bullet through the trunk of a car parked in the 1200 block of North Third Street. LPD.

10:06 p.m. — Theft. The theft of $160 in merchandise was reported from a vehicle parked in the 900 block of North Street. LPD.

SUNDAY

2:08 a.m. — Arrest. Jorge Luis Perez, 19, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of minor consumption. LPD.

3:25 a.m. — Arrest. Jose Rolando Rios, 31, Logansport, was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and public intoxication. LPD

3:53 a.m. — Property-damage accident, Colfax and Montgomery. Police found Cadillac against a fence in the 100 block of Montgomery. During a traffic stop, the driver was located. Ruth Camblin, 35, Logansport, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a property-damage accident and false or fictitious plates. LPD.

4:44 a.m. — Arrest. Laura Marie Van-Lake, 22, Kewanna, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated, 0.15 BAC. Indiana State Police.

5:03 a.m. — Arrest. Trent Lynn Johnson, 43, Peru, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. LPD.

5:17 a.m. — Criminal mischief. Someone damaged a car in the 800 block of 20th Street. LPD.

9:04 a.m. — Unlawful entry. A resident of the 1800 block of East Market Street reported that someone had broken into two cars. LPD.

9:32 a.m. — Criminal gang activity. A resident of the 700 block of West Melbourne reported gang grafitti painted on a van. LPD.

11:10 a.m. — Criminal mischief. A report was made that a door was kicked in at a house in the 1300 block of Wright Street. LPD.

3:10 p.m. — Theft. Someone reported the theft of cash, jewelry and prescription medicine from a house in the 1400 bloc of North Third Street. LPD.

5:04 p.m. — Structure fire, 2214 E. Broadway.

6:48 p.m. — Spread oil dry, Michigan and Chase.

SUNDAY

12:09 am. — False alarm, 1208 Riverside.

8:08 a.m. — First-respsonder call, assist EMS, 416 Montgomery.
