Police blotter, August 31

Friday

8:03 a.m. — Property-damage accident, Ind. 16 near 1000 East. A vehicle driven by Chelsie R. Frank, 21, Fulton, struck a deer. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

5:18 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole pool cues from a vehicle in the 300 block of Tanguy Street. Logansport Police Department.

9:34 p.m. — Arrest. Mark Edward Dillard, 37, Logansport, was arrested on two counts of failure to appear. LPD.

Saturday

2:35 p.m. — Property-damage accident, Third and Ottawa streets. Vehicles driven by Kevin M. Graham, 16, Kewanna, and Angela M. King, 25, Kewanna, collided. LPD.

9:25 p.m. — Personal-injury accident, George Street near Lafayette Drive. A vehicle driven by Claire Landis, 18, Monticello, reportedly struck a vehicle driven by Blake A. Callaway, 18, Logansport, in the rear at Callaway was turning. Landis complained of back pain. A passenger in her car, 19-year-old Samantha S. Engles of Logansport, complained of face pain. LPD.

11:51 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a tire and rim from the 600 block of Vandalia Street. LPD.

Sunday

12:35 a.m. — Burglary. Someone reportedly broke into a residence in the 1300 block of Woodlawn Avenue and stole two computers and a modem. LPD.

5 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a laptop computer from a residence in the 300 block of Barron Street. LPD.

6:12 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a four wheeler from the 6900 block of Georgetown Road. CCSD.

9:27 a.m. — Criminal mischief. Someone reportedly drew graffiti on a camper in the 2100 block of North Street. LPD.

4:39 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a cell phone from the 3800 block of East Market Street. LPD.

5:52 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a tire from the 600 block of Vandalia Street. LPD.

6:10 p.m. — Property-damage accident, U.S. 35 and U.S. 24. A vehicle driven by Cindy Douangnaly, 30, Logansport, struck a curb on the exit ramp before traveling into a ditch and hitting a small tree. CCSD.

2:34 a.m. — Extinguish fire at rear of residence, 811 High St.

5:38 a.m. — Assist EMS on 350 South in Washington Township.

7:35 a.m. — Crossing guard detail at Logansport schools.
