Police Blotter, Jan, 29, 2013

Friday

7:39 a.m. — Criminal mischief. 600 block of 12th Street. A man reported his 2000 Saturn was ransacked. Logansport Police Department.  

8:07 a.m. — Crash. 1700 block of Michigan Avenue. A vehicle driven by Cindy Cox, 37, Plymouth, slid off the road. There were no injuries. LPD.

9:14 a.m. — Criminal mischief. 1600 block of Wright Street. A man reported that someone spray-painted his vehicle. LPD.

3:11 p.m. — Arrest. Two Logansport High School students were arrested for disorderly conduct. LPD.

5:39 p.m. — Crash. 13th and East Market streets. A vehicle driven by Jacob Torres, 20, Logansport, struck a dog. There were no injuries. LPD.

10:51 p.m. — Theft. 1300 block of Smith Street. A man reported a firearm stolen from the residence. LPD.

Sunday

12:46 p.m. — Crash. A vehicle driven by Rita Banes, 88, Monticello, struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Santos Oliver, 46, Logansport. There were no injuries. LPD.

1:13 p.m. — Theft. 1100 block of Pleasant Hill. A man reported someone stole an iPod Touch, subwoofers and CDs from his vehicle. LPD.

3:12 p.m. — Burglary. 800 block of 17th Street. A man reported someone stole car speakers from his garage. LPD.

3:37 p.m. — Arrest. Tommy Lee Corcoran, 47, Logansport, was arrested on charges of criminal confinement and battery. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

4:42 p.m. — Theft. 2200 block of East Broadway. A man reported the theft of a cell phone, camera, bracelet, leather jacket and medication from his house. LPD.

4:57 p.m. — Arrest. Hector Mateo Lopez, 45, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. LPD.

8:42 p.m. — Arrest. Karen Ranae Grauel, 40, Logansport, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear. CCSD.

10:18 p.m. — Arrest. Omar Balandran-Gomez, 36, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of driving while suspended — prior. CCSD.  

Monday

3:46 a.m. — Theft. 400 block of East Main Street. A man reported someone stole a stereo and flashlight from an unlocked vehicle. LPD.

6:11 a.m. — Theft. 1300 block of George Street. A woman reported someone entered her vehicle and stole items from her purse. LPD.

Sunday

3:12 p.m. — Assist EMS. 2300 Wright St. Logansport Fire Department.

8:20 p.m. — Controlled brush burn. 4960 E. 225 North. Cass County Fire District/New Waverly Fire Department.
