Tuesday

12:45 p.m. — Fraud. Someone in Canada reportedly tried to scam a Lucerne resident out of $2,850 by telling the woman her granddaughter had been arrested and needed money wired to an attorney so she could be freed from jail. A Marsh Hometown Market employee notified police when the woman tried to wire the money. Logansport Police Department.

Wednesday

6:50 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly broke into a garage in the 12400 block of South Payton Road in Galveston and stole a vehicle. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

7:57 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a garage door opener and after shave from a truck in the 800 block of Spear Street. LPD.

11:22 a.m. — Criminal mischief. Someone reportedly threw eggs on vehicles in the 1500 block of George Street. LPD.

11:58 a.m. — Lost property. A Logansport resident reported a vehicle license plate either lost or stolen. LPD.

1:45 p.m. — Arrest. Maverick Dudley Walters, 48, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of battery. CCSD.

3:04 p.m. — Property-damage accident, Ind. 25 near Clymers. A grain truck driven by Dennis W. Stephen, 66, Williamsport, tipped over into a ditch. CCSD.

6:48 p.m. — Arrest. Dario Timoteo Herrera, 30, Sarasota, Fla., was arrested on charges of theft, two counts of failure to appear and three warrants for public intoxication. CCSD.

8 p.m. — Arrest. Christopher Alan Stanton, 31, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of invasion of privacy. LPD.

8:30 p.m. — Arrest. Robert Lee Hardy, 58, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of invasion of privacy. LPD.

Thursday

2:10 a.m. — Arrest. Michael Lee Adams, 23, Logansport, was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. LPD.

3:03 a.m. — Arrest. Shay Michael Hettinger, 26, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated. Indiana State Police.
