Monday

1:36 p.m. — Theft. Nilyn Stark, Logansport, reported that her black leather wallet was stolen from her purse. The wallet contained cash, Social Security cards and medical insurance cards. Logansport Police Department.

7:37 p.m. — Property-damage accident, East Broadway near 10th Street. A vehicle driven by Jeannette E. White, 82, Logansport, struck three parked vehicles while traveling westbound on East Broadway. She reported she lost control of her vehicle because of a mechanical malfunction in the steering. LPD.

Tuesday

Time not recorded — Property-damage accident, Berry Lane and Usher Street. A vehicle driven by Paul R. Hudson, 20, Logansport, struck a vehicle driven by Kevin T. Smith, 17, Logansport. Hudson reported the brakes on his car failed and that is why his vehicle collided into the back of Smith. LPD.

9:42 a.m. — Check deception. John Randle, an employee at the American Legion Post 60 at 828 Burlington Ave., reported a check for $120 returned because it was written on a closed account. LPD.

10:16 a.m. — Theft. Gina Smith, Logansport, reported that medication from her home had been stolen. LPD.

3:30 p.m. — Arrest. Peggy M. Penn, 25, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of theft after allegedly attempting to steal a package of hotdogs and a package of sausage from Marsh Supermarket. LPD.

6:50 p.m. — Arrest. Ted I. Driver, 29, Kokomo, was arrested on charges of residential entry, criminal recklessness, battery, and criminal mischief. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.
