Police blotter, Oct. 26, 2009

Friday

7:56 a.m. — Fraud. Someone reportedly attempted to collect $160 for an unpaid phone bill from a Logansport resident claiming they never had the service. Logansport Police Department.

3:11 p.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole $40 from a residence in the 800 block of High Street. LPD.

4:01 p.m. — Personal-injury accident, U.S. 35 and 18th Street. Vehicles driven by Elizabeth A. Willis, 25, Kokomo, and Nicholas J. Albright, 20, Roanoke, collided. Willis complained of neck pain. LPD.

11:55 p.m. — Criminal mischief. Someone reportedly threw a rock through a window and egged a residence in the 600 block of North Street. LPD.

Saturday

3:24 a.m. — Theft. Someone reportedly stole a Playstation 2 and clothing from a residence in the 700 block of Bringhurst. LPD.

Sunday

1 a.m. — Arrest. Tony Garcia, 42, Logansport, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery. LPD.

4:32 a.m. — Arrest. Chasey Lenae Burton, 21, Logansport, was arrested on charges of possession of paraphernalia, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of marijuana. Indiana State Police.

2:53 p.m. — Assist EMS, 717 N. Third St.

3:46 p.m. — Assist EMS at Anoka Acres, 2904 South U.S. 35.

5:30 p.m. — Assist EMS, 1003 21st St.

6:04 p.m. — Heating element in electrical stove arcing, 1728 Smith St. Firefighters unplugged stove.

10:51 p.m. — Report of a hot smell, 1702 Smead St. Nothing found.

11:46 p.m. — Assist EMS, 120 W. Ottawa St.
