SUNDAY

3:56 p.m. — Property-damage accident, U.S. 24 and U.S. 35. Jay R. Sherby, 23, Highland, was traveling onto U.S. 35 from U.S. 24 and due to fast speeds on dangerous road conditions, he slid into the path of Franklin C. Eisenzopf, 73, Galveston, traveling on U.S. 35. Sherby forced Eisenzopf’s vehicle into the cement guard rail along U.S. 35. Cass County Sheriff’s Department.

MONDAY

9:25 a.m. — Arrest. Nicholas Duane Ribble, 25, Peru, was arrested for failure to appear. CCSD.

11:29 a.m. — Property-damage accident, Colfax and Tanguy streets. Chad Jones, 38, Logansport, was driving eastbound on Colfax Street when he reportedly slid through a stop sign at the intersection of Colfax and Tanguy streets due to snow and ice. His vehicle was struck Everett Nickels, 30, Logansport, traveling southbound on Tanguy Street. Logansport Police Department.

5:26 p.m. — Theft. It was reported that fuel was stolen from the McLure Oil station at 436 Michigan Ave. LPD.

12:50 a.m. — Assist EMS, 3712 Price Drive.

2:21 a.m. — Assist EMS, 1187 N. Ind. 25.
