Honorable Thomas Perrone presiding

Jeffrey Brown, 41, Logansport, violated his probation. The court reinstated 180 days in the Cass County Jail on the original charge of operating while intoxicated. Probation was terminated. He received 24 days credit.

Keith Andrew Gardner III, 26, Winamac, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Gardner was sentenced to 38 days in the Cass County Jail and 17 months probation. He was ordered to pay $714 in costs and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation. He received 19 days credit.

Leon Stiles Jr., 26, Kokomo, violated his probation. The court reinstated one year on in-home detention in Howard County. Probation was terminated. This is to be served consecutively with a guilty plea to invasion of privacy. Stiles was sentenced to 18 months in in-home detention, if eligible. He was ordered to pay $264 in costs. He received 20 days credit.

Michelle M. Martin, 45, Logansport, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated endangering a person. Martin was sentenced to 180 days in the Department of Correction. She was sentenced to one year on in-home detention and six months probation. She was ordered to pay $364.50 in court costs. Her license was suspended for one year. She received 90 days credit. This sentence is to be served consecutively with guilty pleas to operating while intoxicated and habitual traffic offender. For each count, to be served concurrently with the other, Martin was sentenced to 390 days in the Department of Correction, one year on in-home detention and 11 months probation. She was ordered to pay $714.50 in costs and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation. Her license was suspended for one year plus lifetime. She received 239 days credit.

Dennis M. Ruby, 23, Winamac, pleaded guilty to theft, pursuant to a plea agreement. Ruby was sentenced to 30 days in the Pulaski County Jail and 17 months on probation. He was ordered to pay $264 in costs and restitution in the amount of $522.17 to Radio Shack. He received one and a half days credit. That sentence is to be served consecutively with a guilty plea to conversion. Ruby was sentenced to six months on probation. He was ordered to pay $264 in costs and restitution in the amount of $91.69 to Bonnell’s and $43.51 to One Stop Food and Shop.
