McKaig-Kohlhagen

Marie McKaig and Kent Kohlhagen were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 27, 2010, at Shiloh Christian Church in Logansport. Pastor

Tim McKaig officiated at the ceremony.

The wedding reception was held at the Cass County Community Center.

The bride is the daughter of Roger and Linda McKaig, Logansport.

The groom is the son of Richard and Carol Kohlhagen.

Angela Brooke, sister of the bride, Logansport, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids included Breeanne Wilhite, cousin of the bride; Sarah McKaig, sister-in-law of the bride; Kara Hartman, sister of the groom; and Lori Dubois, sister of the groom. Junior bridesmaids were Emily and Olivia Brooke, nieces of the bride; and Katlyn and Kristy Kohlhagen, nieces of the groom.

Ashlynn Brooke and Mia McKaig, nieces of the bride, and Kendra Kohlhagen, niece of the groom, were the flower girls.

Ryan Kohlhagen, brother of the groom, Rensselaer, was the best man. The groomsmen were Kyle Kohlhagen, brother of the groom; Brad Kohlhagen, brother of the groom; Joel Hartman, brother-in-law of the groom; and Darren McKaig, brother of the bride.

Drew McKaig and Austin Brooke, both nephews of the bride, were the ring bearers.

Jeff Brooke, brother-in-law of the bride, and Ryan Dubois, brother-in-law of the groom, both served as ushers.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Pioneer Junior-Senior High School, and a 2008 graduate of Huntington University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and is employed by Rensselaer Central School Corporation.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Rensselaer Central High School.

He is a self-employed farmer for Kohlhagen Farms.

The couple took a trip to the Hawaiian Islands and reside in Rensselaer.
