NORTH JUDSON —
Class A No. 5 Pioneer overcame a big, early deficit to win in overtime at North Judson Friday night, 27-21.
After stopping the Bluejays on their try in overtime, Pioneer’s Joe Miller ran the ball into the end zone from 10 yards out on the
Panthers’ first try to end the game.
Miller finished with 128 yards rushing on 27 carries. Matt Dorris had 146 yards rushing and a TD on 13 carries. Dorris added a 10-yard
fumble return for a TD that tied the game at 21-all in the third quarter. Sam Kiser added a 55-yard TD run for Pioneer.
The Panthers trailed 21-0 just 15 seconds into the second quarter.
