KENTLAND —
Jake Howdeshell broke his own school record for 3-pointers in a game, knocking down 10, to lead the Caston boys basketball team to a 59-22 thrashing of South Newton Friday night.
Howdeshell finished with 34 points for the Comets (8-4, 3-0 Midwest Conference). Quentin Douglass added 16 in the win.
After leading by just nine at the half, the Comets locked down defensively and outscored the Rebels 38-10 in the second half.

IN JEOPARDY: The Bowen House, 404 E. Main St. in Delphi, was recently added to the Indiana Landmarks 10 Most Endangered list.
A historic Victorian mansion in Delphi, once the home of a successful merchant and a professional wrestler, has been added to an Indiana preservation organization’s list of endangered landmarks.
