RENSSELAER —
When Winamac senior Zach Shidler is on a streak like he was Friday at Rensselaer Central, the rim looks as big as a wading pool.
Shidler, the Warriors’ 5-foot-11 point guard, hit four straight 3-point shots in the third quarter and teammate Adam Gruenig added two more for good measure, as Winamac rallied from a five-point third-quarter deficit to take a double-digit lead and hang on for a 53-44 victory Friday at Joe Burvan Gymnasium.
Pick up Sunday’s Pharos-Tribune for complete coverage of the game.
