Partnership for young readers

Newspapers are dynamic teaching tools for current events, math, science, reading and many other subjects. The Pharos-Tribune’s Newspapers in Education program provides area classrooms with newspapers and other learning materials.

You can support area school children by donating your vacation newspapers to NIE. For more information about NIE or to become a sponsor, call (574)732-5138 or email becky.hirschler@pharostribune.com

More than 150,000 students a year read the Pharos-Tribune as part of their daily curriculum.
