Announcements and notices

The deadline for submitting anniversary, birthday, engagement and wedding announcements is 5 p.m. two Fridays prior to the preferred Sunday of publication. Forms are available at the Pharos-Tribune reception desk or online at www.pharostribune.com/contactus

Placing an announcement in the Pharos-Tribune costs $20 which includes a black-and-white photograph. Want Color? For $35, you can have your photograph published in color. Photos may be submitted with announcements. When a digital photo is submitted, the resolution must be at least 200 dpi. For more information, please call (574)722-5000, ext. 5130.

Obituaries & death notices

There is no charge for publication of a death notice, which includes only the following information: name, age, address, time and place of death, time and date of services, visitation, burial and memorial contributions.

A complete obituary – one that includes a listing of the deceased’s education, employment, memberships, survivors, etc. – may be published for a charge.
